About Us

Dana was born in South Charleston, West Virginia and lived there until he was 14 years old, at which time he moved to Cleveland, Ohio. He heard the gospel for the first time at a little store front church called West Side Baptist Church. He visited the church only three times when the Holy Spirit dealt with him concerning salvation. He accepted the Lord on December 29, 1968. He felt the call to preach soon after. At age 19, he moved  to Greenville, South Carolina to attend Tabernacle Baptist Bible Institute where Dr. Harold Sightler was pastor. In 1976 Dana took his first pastorate at a little church in the mountains of North Carolina. He was there four years and six months. He then served as pastor of Temple Baptist Church, Newland, North Carolina for eighteen years. In 1999 Dana felt the call of God for full time evangelism. He and his wife, Esther, have ministered in churches preaching and singing in revivals, camp meetings, and conferences all across the mid and eastern United States. Dana and Esther reside in Wedowee, Alabama. They have four children and seven grandchildren.

Thank you for stopping by.  Don't forget to visit the other pages of our web site.  If we can be of further service to you, please contact us.

As is with all of life, there comes  the times of separation by the passing of a loved one.  With mixed emotions: joy for her and sadness for us, we got the news of our dearest friend and prayer warrior making her way into the presence of our Lord on June 23rd.  Marta Greene was a true saint. We will certainly miss her.  Her funeral will be Sunday, June 28th in Boone, NC.

We are traveling today June 24th, up to Cleveland, OH to do the funeral of my brother, Jack Williams, who went to be with the Lord on June 22nd.  We rejoice greatly for him, because almost four years ago, he accepted the Lord and was able to enjoy a short time of knowing and experiencing the Lord.  His conversion was truly a miracle.  He developed dementia, but even through the downturn of his health, his salvation experience was evident in his talk.  We praise the Lord for His mercy extended to the most impossible of cases.

Pray for us as we do the funeral on Thursday.  There are still many who are lost in our family.  With God all things are possible.

The Taylorsville Camp  meeting, Taylorsville, NC, is going on June 22nd through July 3rd..  We hope you will make your way over there.  We will be preaching at Calvary Baptist Church, Taylorsville, NC, with Bro. Steve Dagenhart, on Sunday and then starting on Monday morning, June 29th through Wednesday morning, July 1st at the camp meeting.
